Sunkonnect deployed a team of Engineers having expertise in Transformer Design and Production to conduct RCA for the failure of a 6.25MVA Inverter Duty Transformer. The team along with the manufacturer performed detailed tests and studies on the transformer leading to the identification of the cause of failure. A detailed report was provided to the manufacturer as well as the client to improve the design and manufacturing of such transformers.

Sunkonnect deployed a team of Engineers having expertise in the Mechanical Structures Structure Manufacturing Facility for The Pre Shipment Technical and Quality Inspection of the material. The team identified various materials with defects leading to the rejection of a lot and the remaining material was cleared for dispatch. An RCA was conducted for the defective material and suggestions were provided to the manufacturer for improvement.

Sunkonnect deployed a team of Engineers for Asset Management of an Operational Solar PV Plant, The idea was to study the plant to identify the status of current performance, areas for improvement to improve yield and Plant uptime, and provide expertise to implement the recommendations. We managed to reduce the unscheduled downtime of the plant completely and improve the yield by 3%. We also implemented SOPs for Preventive and corrective maintenance to enable the site team to operate the plant at optimum.

Sunkonnect deployed a team of Engineers for the assessment of an Operational Solar PV Plant’s health, The idea was to study the plant to identify the status of current performance, areas for improvement to improve yield and Plant uptime, and provide expertise to implement the recommendations. The team camped at the site for a few days, conducted tests and analyses on the data, and worked with the client team to implement the changes. We managed to reduce the unscheduled downtime of the plant by 75% and improve the yield by 10%.

Sunkonnect deployed a team of Engineers having expertise in PV Modules fabrication and Production to conduct RCA for the rear glass cracks in the bifacial modules of a global major supplier. The team along with the manufacturer camped at the site to perform various simulations, inspections, and tests to collect the data of the affected modules. The data was studied and a report was published for clients and manufacturers. The countermeasure was proposed to prevent such failures in the future for both client and the manufacturer.

Sunkonnect deployed a team of Engineers & Scientists to work with clients in order to develop new PV products in line with the industry standard by studying the existing BoM for solar PV modules and suggesting changes based on experimental data. The team successfully introduced a new BoM for the modules and improved the performance of the existing product line.

Sunkonnect was also appointed to improve the Cell to Module losses for the line. With extensive experience in Module manufacturing Sunkonnect team was able to bring the cell to module loosed at par with the global industry giants. The projects were completed well before time.

Project 1

Sunkonnect deployed a team of Engineers & Scientists to work with clients to develop Li-ion cells and batteries along with BMS suitable for the Indian climate. The batteries shall be used for mobility as well as energy storage applications. We are working on this project by setting up an R&D line in Singapore for Li-ion cells and a pilot battery assembly line in India ultimately leading to an in-house battery manufacturing capacity of 1.5GW.
